Christmas Lights

So, over the weekend, me and the wife took down our Christmas decorations from the attic. I set up the tree, and was planning on stringing the lights. Little Snafoo...out of the 18 light sets I put up in the attic....6 work. I lost all of my outside lights. Guess I'll have to get new ones.

Do any of you recommend getting the new LED bulbs? Are they as bright as the incandescent ones?
